Global Marine Training
The training division of RINA—one of the world's largest international classification societies and service providers in innovative technologies, digital solutions, technical support, and certification for the maritime sector. Here you can take both traditional STCW safety courses and training related to digitalization and modern shipping technologies, environmental initiatives, programs for superintendents, assessors and auditors, as well as courses for offshore industry workers and megayacht crew. The emphasis is on evolving trends in global shipping and their practical application. Both in-person and online formats are available.
QMS Maritime Training Center
Offers over 190 different courses covering both mandatory STCW courses and specialized training in modern technologies, risk management, and environmental requirements. The center is an accredited Safebridge ECDIS Type Specific training partner, provides training for RCCL / Celebrity Cruise personnel, and serves as one of the approved testing centers for the MARLINS Maritime English Language Assessment program. QMS MTC is recommended for deck and engine officers, environmental specialists, assessors and auditors seeking training that meets current industry standards, including TMSA, SIRE, and RISQ requirements. Both in-person and live online formats are available.
A maritime training center offering in-person and distance maritime training courses, including STCW and corporate programs for officers, engineers, and ratings. Training is conducted using modern navigation, ECDIS, GMDSS, engine room, and bridge management simulators. The center offers training in accordance with IMO, OCIMF, and RightShip requirements. Selected courses and certificates are recognized by flag state administrations, including Traficom (Finland), Transport Malta, Cyprus Maritime, Marshall Islands, Panama, and the Bahamas. Further education opportunities in shipping are also available in partnership with Zurich Elite Business School.
A maritime training center in Greece offering training and revalidation programs for maritime professionals in accordance with STCW requirements. The center is certified by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance to ISO 9001. Selected courses and certificates are recognized by flag state administrations, including Malta, Cyprus, Panama, the Bahamas, Liberia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Honduras, and the Marshall Islands. The center positions itself as a facility equipped with modern bridge, engine room, GMDSS simulators, and cargo handling trainers.
ALS Hellenic Maritime Training Center
Offers approximately 95 maritime training courses covering various areas of maritime activity, including safety, search and rescue operations, anti-piracy measures, vessel inspection and audit preparation, and situational awareness development. Both in-person and online formats are available. The center uses Wärtsilä simulators (formerly TRANSAS)—one of the world's leading providers of simulation solutions for the maritime industry.
S.RANIS Piraeus Maritime Training Centre
A maritime training center in Piraeus with over 40 years of experience. The center offers a wide range of professional courses, including STCW training, for officers, crew members, and shipping company staff. Training is conducted using modern equipment: full-mission TRANSAS bridge/maneuvering simulators (Class A), Kongsberg Neptune engine room simulator, GMDSS, liquid and bulk cargo handling simulators, and ECDIS simulators. The center also provides training and documentation services for obtaining Panama Certificates of Proficiency for ratings.
Athina Maritime Learning and Development Center
ATHINA MLDC is a maritime training center affiliated with the Minerva shipping group. The center offers a comprehensive range of STCW courses, industry programs, and customized seminars for licensed deck and engine officers, as well as shore-based shipping company personnel.
The training center features modern ship handling, engine room, and liquid cargo handling simulators (oil, chemicals, LNG). The training process is built on the "total ship" concept, where bridge, engine room, and cargo operations are simulated simultaneously, allowing trainees to practice both routine and complex vessel operation scenarios.
SQLearn Maritime Training Experts
An online training center offering fully distance-learning courses for seafarers of various ranks and vessel types, including oil tankers, gas carriers, cruise and yacht vessels. Courses are developed on a proprietary digital platform and aligned with STCW requirements, as well as industry standards including TMSA, SIRE 2, and RightShip. Selected programs are approved by the flag administrations of Cyprus, Liberia, and Panama, and recognized under ABS requirements. The courses stand out for their interactive format, gamification elements, and multimedia content. Specialized modules on digitalization and AI applications in the maritime industry are also available, covering data privacy and ethical AI use.
DYNAMARINe Academy is the training division of Dynamarine Group. The academy offers training and requalification programs for bulk carrier, tanker, and gas carrier specialists, as well as shore-based personnel, in accordance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and STCW requirements. Training is available in both in-person and online formats, including interactive live sessions.
The center trains instructors, assessors, ship security and cybersecurity officers, auditors, and inspectors. Special emphasis is placed on IMO Model Course 1.30 and industry best practices based on OCIMF guidelines, as well as TMSA, SIGTTO, OPITO, SIRE 2.0, and DBMS requirements for assessing seafarers' technical and behavioral competency.
