It is influenced by a person’s emotional state, their relationship with a partner, prolonged separation and the eventual return home.

How Your Facial Expression in a CV Photo Affects Perceived Competence

Psychologists, HR professionals, and nonverbal communication researchers have long studied how facial expressions in photos shape the perception of a person as competent, trustworthy, and right for the job.

Performance that Conquered the Internet

French ballerina and choreographer Victoria Dauberville conquered the internet with a breathtaking dance performance on the bow of the cruise ship Ponant in the icy waters of Antarctica.

The video shot by photographer Mathieu Forget captures Victoria's graceful movements against a backdrop of floating ice, making the moment seem surreal.

Dauberville performed in sub-zero temperatures balancing on the bow of a moving vessel. Despite the extreme conditions she executed every move perfectly.

When the video was widely shared on social media many users doubted its authenticity, with some believing it was created using artificial intelligence. The ballerina later shared a behind-the-scenes video showing how the entire performance was filmed. This dispelled doubts and convinced viewers that the
performance was real.

This performance is not the first time Dauberville has wowed audiences with her unique routines. She has previously performed ballet routines in front of the Eiffel Tower and even danced on a running track.
