Requirements:
In addition to carpentry work, your duties also include maintenance and repair of the furnishings (cabins and all other hotel areas). This includes, among other things:
Replacing tiles, renewing silicone in sanitary facilities and other areas, insulating cold storage rooms
Replacing and repairing carpets and linoleum/PVC panels
Opening ceilings and maintenance hatches for other trades
Gluing shoes and other guest items, opening and repairing suitcases
Installing glass panes and mirrors
Routine tasks in passenger suites and crew cabins, such as:
Oiling TV mounts
Securing hinges on minibar cabinets
Replacing drawer slides
Securing coat hooks/towel holders
Fixing door stoppers in bathrooms and wardrobes
Replacing balcony door seals and door buffers
Programming entrance door locks (interface with IT)
Updating the Carpenter Manual
Maintenance and care of teak decks
You will lead a team of one or two other carpenters.
You are responsible for PC-based material ordering and storage.
