Responsibilities
In charge for the entire hotel operation onboard across all departments (Guest Services, Restaurant, Bar, Galley, Provisions, Housekeeping)
·Cost controlling and budgeting, food ordering, stock monitoring
·Responsible for all hotel personnel, level of performance, discipline and development
·Responsible for maintaining the service and hygiene standards onboard
·Compliance with and enforcement of applicable regulations
·Responsible for delivering the onboard operation based on irregular hours or schedules
·Participates in various onboard social functions
·Participates in on board safety training, meetings and drills
Profile
·Has experience in Expedition cruising, Arctic and Antarctic voyages
·Experience with high end hospitality/cruising operations
·Excellent communication and managerial skills
·Strong time management skills; able to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
·Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
·STCW certification
·Familiar with the ISM codes and requirements
·Fluent in English
