Requirements:



Operating, maintaining, and repairing navigational electronics and bridge systems, including but not limited to: Radar, gyro compass, speed log, magnetic and satellite compasses, Satellite navigation systems (GPS/DGPS), ECDIS, AIS, echo sounder, course recorders, and rate-of-turn indicators, Autopilot and steering control systems, Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) and ship stability control systems, SSAS and related compliance equipment, Bridge consoles, overhead monitors, and rudder indicators
· Maintaining and troubleshooting internal communication systems, such as: walkie-talkies and handheld radios, public address systems and talk-back systems, hospital call/alarm system, central and emergency call systems, central and master/slave clock systems
· Maintain and repair external communication and distress systems, including: GMDSS systems (VHF, MF/HF transmitters and receivers), Weather fax, NAVTEX, Fleet Broadband, and satellite communication terminals;
· Supporting and maintaining fire detection and alarm systems, including associated fire doors and control panels;
· Assisting in the maintenance of the Safety Management System (SMS) interfaces and connected electronics;
· Maintaining the door access control systems and supporting electronics across the vessel;
· Providing support for technical computer systems, especially those linked to monitoring or safety;
· Coordinating closely with deck officers in troubleshooting and maintaining navigation systems;
· Oversee the proper functioning of the passenger information system, nautical UPS, and navigation lantern systems;
· Monitoring and maintaining tracking systems and bridge equipment, including control interfaces and overhead displays;
· Portraying a positive image of AROYA Cruises to all guests, officers, crew, and government officials;
· Maintaining professional relationships across all functions, while promoting a positive and harassment-free work environment that welcomes and respects differences in cultures, backgrounds, and individual personalities;
· Participating in emergency drills and responding to actual emergencies as per the Muster List;
· Adhering to and ensuring all persons under their supervision adhere to all safety regulations;
· Adhering to and ensuring all persons under their supervision adhere and comply with all Company Policies, Procedures and Manuals;
· Performing duties and tasks according to above but not limited to that.
