Test operation of the new deep-water container terminal T3 has begun in the Gdansk Baltic Hub port. Full launch of commercial operations is expected by the end of 2025. On April 5 the terminal received its first vessel, the 15,000 TEU container ship MSC Rose operating on the new MSC Britannia service.

The service's port rotation includes:
Shanghai - Ningbo - Yantian - Vung Tau - Singapore - Colombo - Felixstowe - Antwerp - Gdansk.

Baltic Hub is the largest container port on the Baltic Sea and the only one in the region capable of receiving the largest ULCV container ships with a capacity of up to 24,000 TEU on direct services from Asia.

Since its launch in 2007, the port has commissioned two deep-water terminals:
- T1 (2007)
- T2 (2016)

Their total capacity is 3 million TEU per year.

With the launch of T3 the transshipment capacity will increase by a third and reach 4.5 million TEU per year.

In early 2019, the terminal was sold to a consortium led by Singaporean port operator PSA International.
